I’d like to share with you my excitement for Thy Kingdom Come and invite you to join in.

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, started in 2016, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension (25th May) and Pentecost (4th June) for more people to come to know Jesus Christ.

The hope is that:

  • people will commit to pray with God’s world-wide family
  • churches will hold prayer events
  • people will be empowered through prayer by the Holy Spirit, finding new confidence to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.

Archbishop Justin Welby says, “In praying 'Thy Kingdom Come' we all commit to playing our part in the renewal of the nations and the transformation of communities."

I invite you to take part:

We would love you to join us for our monthly prayer meetings. They are held at 7:30pm, Room 2 in the church hall, on the first Monday of each month. We'll pray for ourselves, the church in Hyde Park and Woodhouse, and our world.
