Rev. Joanna Seabourne

Priest in Charge

I have the privilege of being the Priest in Charge here at St Augustine's. I am also an Associate Rector at our partnership church - St George's in the city centre. I have been away on maternity leave for a while, but am excited about returning and serving God's church in Leeds.

Ann Johnson

Church Warden

I have attended St Augustine's all my life, having been christened and married here. Our daughter was also christened here, and still attends the church. I feel it is a privilege to serve as Church Warden, following in the footsteps of many devout and strong Christians I have known over my years here.

Jim Rowland

Church Warden

My association with St Augustine's goes back to student days in the '60s. I was delighted to return here a few years ago, and have a chance to play a part in God's plans for the church.

Che Seabourne

Assistant Pastor

Our PCC invited Che to become our Assistant Pastor, originally as part of his ministerial discernment. He watches most sports, and enjoys lots of different styles of music. He became a father fairly recently, and is very much enjoying this phase of life. He is training for ordination with St Hild College.

John Hebden

Lay Reader

John is a Lay Reader in the Church of England. He is passionate about song writing and praying for the city. He founded Abigail Housing - a charity helping to house refugees and asylum seekers.

Rob Surgenor

Ministry Assistant

Rob works as a Ministry Assistant, and is enjoying learning about different aspects of Anglican ministry. He is also a worship leader, and has particular responsibility for the evening service.

Jack Baker

Youth Worker

Jack is currently studying Youth and Theology with CYM Nottingham, and is very grateful to have Wrangthorn as his placement church. He is excited to develop not only the Sunday School, but also other youth clubs to reach out into the local community.
